Northern Ireland Players in the SPL (1998/99-date)

The Scottish Football League Premier Division evolved into the Scottish Premier League (SPL) in 1998 following a similar model to the English Premier League, with the aim of allowing member clubs to take more control over TV rights and other revenue streams. Currently known under the sponsored title of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League, until 2007 it had been the Bank of Scotland Premier League. As throughout the history of Scottish football, the SPL has been dominated by the Old Firm, Celtic and Rangers sharing all the titles between them.

The following Northern Ireland Full, B, Under-21 and representative players have featured in the SPL since the inaugural 1998/99 season.
